Resume - Glen James

Glen James and family

To develop and shepherd a local body of believers in a smaller venue that is well-fed and cared for, creating an environment that facilitates sanctification through loving people and teaching God’s Word. Seeking the pastoral position for which the Lord has prepared me through 25 years in business, service as a Life Stage 4 Pastor at a megachurch and decades of lay ministry.

Ministry Philosophy

I prioritize relationships over results. God is sovereign over all things; therefore, hope and love for His people should fuel our efforts as His hands and feet. Life has no finish line and we all are on an individual journey of growth and development once we trust in Christ alone for our salvation.

Personal Background

After working 25 years in business, including 10 in corporate world and 15 starting and developing a successful company (50 employees), the Lord made it clear in 2010 that it was time to redirect my life to serve in full-time ministry. I sold the business and began seminary in January 2010 to become equipped for what the Lord had planned. Just prior to my graduation from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology in 2013, the Lord called me to serve at Christ Chapel Bible Church.
